Olsen Marine has been in business since 1985. Tom Olsen started with boat repair and remodeling as a side venue to his professional sailing career and sail making shop. As the years went by, Tom took on more and more boat work as he realized the satisfaction he gained from the hands on activity.

Tom grew up in a family where boat building, repairs, and upgrades for all different types of boats were handled by his father, brothers, and himself in their garage. From a young age, he learned the value of being knowledgeable in all respects of the boat work and how that leads to a more successful result.

His brothers, Rich and Ken Olsen, are very much a constant presence in the Olsen Marine shop. They have been involved in his business from day one. They provide expert advice and techniques on a multitude of subjects and are always available to brainstorm with Tom to pursue the best results for a customer's request and ideas.

Like Tom, the brothers have an obsession with the quality and performance of the Huckins Yachts and enjoy the traditional aspect of the fleet. The Olsen siblings currently together own a 53' Huckins, Quadrum, that they have completely refurbished on weekends over the last few years. This is the third Huckins that the family team has remodeled. So, just as it began as a family working together, the team tradition approach continues.

The Olsen Marine, Inc. shop is located in East Dennis, Massachusetts. It encompasses 8,000 square feet with separate rooms set up for spraying, woodworking, engine work, and for the CNC router. We employ 5-8 craftsmen, depending on the season and our schedule.
